This is a repost.  Since I can’t upload new photos, I thought I would put up one of my favorite that has already been uploaded.  This photo was taken at low light and slow shutter speed.  I had just return from deployment. My wife wanted to take me to the beach to get some photographs. The is one that I came up with. This is a photo that I’m very proud of. I actually use this one on my business cards. I would have to say that this was probably my best or one of my best photographs made in 2009.

I know the quality on this photo is not good but…

Just showing that my son likes to do what I do…

Future Super Model!

aep_5276.jpgMy best model is 7 months old.  She works for hugs and kisses.  She also requires a formula bottle.  She doesn’t mind getting dirty or messing up her best threads to get ‘the shot’.  She doesn’t complain much she just smile as if she’s saying ‘just take the photo da da’.  She is a model at her young age.  I don’t know if she will pursue this career when she gets older but I know she has what it takes.  I introduce to you Ms. Alissa Jeanise Parker.  ‘Future super model’…Click here to see more from Alissa.

On the road

This was a very spontaneous photo.  I was on my way to Wilmington, NC.  My wife was driving, so I decided to make a few photos.  This one turned out pretty good.  Nice traveling photo!  :-)

One of my favorite

aep_3827_blog.jpg

This is one of my favorite photographs.  I took this one at Kure Beach, NC.  I had just returned from my deployment and went to visit my wife’s family.  I think she was just getting used to me carrying my camera everywhere.  I think she is still getting used to it…:-)  I started photographing this pier as the sun started to set.  My better photos were when the sun went lower.  By the time I actually got this photo the sun was completely gone.  A lot of people think I did post production on this photo.  There was none at all.  This photo is straight out of the camera.  This is proof that their is plenty to photograph after sunset…:-)
